Dough Silkscreen Print

In S11:E18 of the popular animated sitcom, The Simpsons, a very drunk Homer Simpson remarked "I could do a lot of things if I had some money" after saving his two eldest children from the top of a volcano. And as funny as the line is, it also struck me as the quintessential American attitude.

This pop art mashup combines one of Andy Warhol's iconic dollar signs with the a drunken Homer Simpson head.

Featuring 8 different colors, it originally started as a 6-color print, but after failing to sell any copies, I printed a new background on top. Textured mylar was used with a variety of black art implements to create the positive films. No computers were used in the creation of this image.

Each copy is signed and numbered in an edition of 45 and measures 19 x 25 inches. Printed on 100# cover stock with environmentally friendly water based ink.
